GrahamSpencer had been an enthusiastic underwriter of Northern Public Radio for years when the National Public Radio stations called and asked if we would create a brand identity system for their stations. Needless to say, we love taking calls like that. There’s nothing better than working for organizations you already believe in. We decided to use the devices of voice balloon and musical note to identify the talk and music formats in these award-winning designs. In addition to the identity system, we designed print advertising and the stations’ websites.
